Film
I learned how to develop black and white film today in photography class. I stood in a dark room and fumbled with film, scissors, bottle opener, and reel for 5+ minutes. Upon leaving the darkroom, I absorbed an explanation of further film treatment processes, then gently agitated the reel of film in various chemicals and rinses, inside a metal canister for about 20 minutes. Only about 9.5 out of 25 exposures were completely ruined. Digital photos of resulting negatives:
